Attended my FIRST PODCAST recording under the 3TO Banner in Sri Hartamas. Podcasts are essentially discussions tailored for those wanting a more than superficial or on the surface treatment of certain topics. Apart from islamic finance matters other matters like the Olympics, education and political funding were discussed by lawyer and cartoonist Taufiq Khalid, social media activist Shamsul Yunos and I.

The podcast will be released to the public at a later date to be announced later by 3TO.

Kedah's RED SEA TOURS & TRAVEL accorded Approved Status for Umrah Packages

In a Press Conference held at the Section 7 Mosque in Shah Alam, Selangor the Red Sea Tours & Travel representative announced that the company have been accorded "Approved Status" by both the Malaysian and Saudi Arabian government for the provision of Umrah packages.

It is important to note that Red Sea Tours & Travel is a "Muassasah-status" Umrah travel company, an important criteria to ensure the welfare of pilgrims in the holy land and also to avoid the many incidences of pilgrims being left in a lurch.

The Government of Malaysia via Lembaga Pembangunan Pengguna Malaysia (Bahagian Umrah) is the agency according the Approved Status to Red Sea Tours & Travel Sdn. Bhd. which is based in Kedah Darul Aman.

Flashback to 4 years ago i.e. 3rd July 2012, Consultant Producer and Co-Hosting the "Islamic Finance Today" TV programme on Channel 420, Capital TV - Hypp TV, UNIFI. 

Initially, it was aired on Channel 127 before a reformatting and rebranding exercise by Hypp TV.

The programme aired for 3 seasons, starting in the last quarter of 2011 and was the FIRST Islamic Finance programme aired on the mainstream media.

A press conference was held in Taman Tun Dr. Ismail, Kuala Lumpur by ATSA Architects. In the PC, Ar. Azmi the CEO of ATSA Architects announced the " Kg Telok Memali Mosque Relocation and Restoration" project in Perak.

The project costs is estimated to be RM500,000 and a fund-raising initiative was also announced. It is expected that contributions will be given tax-exemptions if not for the whole amount contributed, at least partially.
